This was an exercise for myself to learn to ‘be’ with the unknown. I am so fixated to ‘knowing’, that whenever I experience something I haven’t before, I just cannot be with it and wait to form my own definitions of it and label it into a box. I do this all the time, the most to my own self, the fluid universe of creativity within me often becomes rigid because of my own inability to be with the unknown, with my own inability to welcome the new, the unknown from the deepest hidden magical wells inside of me. Here, I tried my best to not think what the next colour/stroke would be, and allowed the unknown to come embrace and pass by without me boxing it.
I can't wait to paint more such large canvases in the coming month. I might actually be painting one canvas this weekend (28th Sept). Will share more with you all about it next week!
How are you planning to spend your time this weekend? What are you intending to create?
