These are loosely painted flowers and leaves. I wouldn’t pre decide what flower to draw, what shape, and where. I would touch watery paint on paper, allowing it to flow were it wants to, only slightly guiding it moving along it’s flow to notice and form these florals. In most of my paintings, I like to have a slight surprise, an undecided element. I like my process to surprise me. That’s what get’s me to me studio every single day, to see what’s in store for me.
Now you know a little bit about what gets me to paint regularly. Now your turn. What is that one factor that gets you excited to paint/create every single time?
I'd love to hear from you in the comments below!
